The Mercedes-Benz Unimog is one of the world's most capable all-terrain utility vehicles. Originally developed for agricultural and military use, the Unimog's unique portal axle design, high ground clearance, and low-range transfer case allow it to operate in environments that defeat conventional four-wheel drive vehicles.
One Response's Unimog is configured for emergency response, personnel transport, and equipment logistics in flood-affected, fire-damaged, and remote access environments. It was deployed during the Cyclone Alfred recovery operations in March 2025, providing ground assessment and logistics support when conventional vehicles could not access affected areas.
The vehicle integrates directly with One Response's air and water capabilities — providing a complete multi-domain ground element that government and emergency management agencies can activate as a single contracted resource.
